Production in construction is down by 1.0% in the euro area and by 0.6% in the EU. Down by 0.7% in the euro area and by 0.4% in the EU compared with October 2022.  

In October 2023 compared with September 2023, seasonally adjusted production in the construction sector decreased by 1.0% in the euro area and by 0.6% the EU, according to first estimates from Eurostat. In September 2023, production in construction grew by 0.9% in the euro area and by 0.7% in the EU. 

In October 2023 compared with October 2022, production in construction decreased by 0.7% in the euro area and by 0.4% in the EU.
